Due to lack of precipitation the Maxatawny Township Municipal Authority is issuing a Voluntary Water Conservation Notice to the customers of the Maxatawny Township Municipal Authority. A voluntary 15% water use restriction is requested - refrain from watering lawns or any outdoor areas, washing vehicles other than at a carwash and be mindful of domestic water use.

Per approved resolution 2024-05, Mulch will now be $20.00 per load when loaded by Township employees. There is still no charge if resident loads mulch themselves.
Park rental fees for 2024 are: Resident - Pavilion & Kitchen - $125.00, Non-Resident - Pavilion & Kitchen - $225.00, Resident Pavilion only - $75.00, Non-Resident - Pavilion only - $125.00. **Forms and check must be from a Township resident for payment of park rental fees.

If you see a street light that is out, please call Met-Ed at 1-800-545-7741. All street lights should contain a pole number. Please try to obtain the pole number before calling Met-Ed as it is essential in resolving the issue. Thanks for your help!
