The MTMA is aware that the Fire Hydrant is out of service and it has been out of service for quite a few months.
The intention was to repair the hydrant when the weather was warmer. The warm weather is here and we are still waiting for the part to repair the hydrant. We are working directly with the manufacturer for the part for repair. Unfortunately, it is out of our hands. Our distributor and manufacturer are working hand in hand. As soon as the part is available, we will have it repaired.
Rest assured, your fire protection is not compromised. The fire department is aware that this hydrant is out of service. The fire department has alternate plans in case of a fire incident in the area.
If you have any further questions please contact the MTMA Office by phone 484-507-4718 or email MTMA6862@gmail.com
